Benchmark Testing

Benchmark Testing is conducted by QA Valley to evaluate the performance of software using a representative data set, and comparing the result of different data configurations runs to establish general throughput guidelines.

Benchmark Testing is an integral part of SDLC that is used to determine the current performance of the software product and make the necessary changes to improve the same. With the help of Benchmark Testing, our team of Testers can create scenarios to test deadlock handling, browser compatibility, load time and accessibility of services provided by the product. At QA Valley, our testers conduct Benchmark Testing of the product in four phases – Planning, Analysis, Integration, and Action. We plan and organize the testing cycle to ensure that the end result of testing is accurate.

Before conducting Benchmark Testing, our testers ensure that all the necessary conditions and requirements for testing are fulfilled. Testers ensure that all the software components are performing accurately. They also check whether the software and hardware components are in line with the environmental conditions. Through Benchmark Testing, our testing team at QA Valley ensures that the application meets the minimum specification in terms of response time, number of concurrent users and other performance requirements as specified in the SLA (Service Level Agreement) document.

At QA Valley, Benchmark Testing is the one-stop solution for software developers for building a quality product. Benchmark Testing is not related to only software testing but it also deals with the hardware testing. It offers several benefits to testers, developers and users. Benchmark Testing helps testers to validate whether all the software components are inaccurate working conditions. Various parts of Benchmark Testing include specifications of workload, metrics, and measurements of the software product. After Benchmark Testing, developers can launch a software product with confidence.
